Do you like piña coladas? Well I think I would, but I am allergic. So when my husband requests pineapple, I may or may not be slightly jealous. I always give in, and make him the fruity concoction, with envy in my heart. We are stuck in the house in quarantine, but nothing bothers him after a few of these bad boys, not even my begrudging mannerisms.
You may also serve this mixture to the kids, minus the alcohol!
- Preparation Time: 10 minutes
- Cuisine: American
- 2 cups of pineapple chunks
- 1 can of coconut cream
- 2 Tbsp. shredded, sweetened coconut
- 1/2 banana
- 1/2 cup of pineapple juice
- 2 1/2 cups of ice
- Rum (optional)
1Throw all ingredients in a blender, and blend until smooth.
2Pour 1 1/2 oz. of white rum into a glass, then pour colada mixture in glass, and stir well.
3Garnish with a pineapple chunk or cherry.
